ive always loved these bodies. to me its the e38 of Japanese cars. timeless edgey design still looks fresh. if only it were rwd and 6mt

Because it's 1000x easier to work on than a transverse V6!
it's also 90 degrees in order to get a lower center of gravity and lower hood line. It's really unusual because it's not based off a V8, like most 90-degree V6's are.
